Assessing Packaging Recovery in Canada

Spotlight on Compostables

ROUNDTABLE
October 4th, 2017 10:00am - 1:00pm EST
Toronto, Ontario

The National Zero Waste Council is hosting an invitation-only multi-Stakeholder Roundtable on the topic of Compostable Packaging. We will be exploring  how and why compostable packaging does or doesn't get used, recovered and composted across Canada and across sectors. The discussion will deepen our understanding of how the existing policies, programs and perceptions enable or prevent the use and recovery of compostable packaging in Canada.

The National Zero Waste Council is a leadership initiative bringing together governments, businesses and community organizations to advance waste prevention in Canada. The Council is focused on waste prevention and reduction through collaborative action on the design, production and use of goods.

Lunch will be provided.

A report on the outcomes of the event will be prepared and shared only with attendees.
